Using this website
By browsing this website or submitting an enquiry you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Information on the site
The content published here describes our painting services across Newcastle, Maitland and the wider Hunter region. It is general information about surfaces, preparation and coatings, and it is not a technical specification for your property. Surface condition, substrate, exposure and access vary from property to property, so any guidance here should be confirmed during an on-site assessment.
Quotes and pricing
Prices, ranges and examples shown on this website are indicative only and do not constitute an offer or a fixed quote. A binding price is only the written quote we provide after inspecting the property. A written quote is valid for the period stated on it, covers only the scope listed, and may be revised if hidden damage, undisclosed surfaces, additional coats or access restrictions are found once work begins.
Bookings, scheduling and weather
Dates are scheduled in good faith. Exterior painting depends on weather and surface moisture, and coating manufacturers specify conditions under which product may be applied. Work may be rescheduled where conditions would compromise the finish or the warranty on the coating.
Your responsibilities as a client
Payment
Payment terms are stated on your quote or invoice. Deposits, progress payments and final payment fall due as written there. Ownership of supplied materials remains with us until payment is received in full. Overdue accounts may incur reasonable recovery costs.
Variations and cancellation
Any change to the agreed scope is treated as a variation and is confirmed in writing before the additional work proceeds. If you cancel a confirmed booking at short notice, costs already incurred for materials ordered or specialist access may be charged.
Workmanship, liability and disputes
We carry out work with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to re-performing the affected work or refunding the amount paid for it.
We are not liable for pre-existing defects, movement or settlement of the building, failure of substrates we did not prepare, damage caused by moisture ingress, or the natural fading and wear of coatings over time. Colour appearance can vary between samples, screens and applied finishes under different lighting, so we recommend approving a sample on site.
